Two Gonzaga law school mock trial teams delivered exceptional performances in the recent 2008 Saul Lefkowitz Competition held in San Francisco:

- Peter Wilburn
- Brett Venn
Team Leland-Pray-Sniffen-Wilburn beat every other school in the competition on their brief, winning the Best Brief award. They also won 2nd Place overall (oral argument & brief scores) in the competition, with only Hastings ahead of them in the oral argument competition.
